There are three methods of traveling to the islands, British International Helicopters fly from Penzance to either St.Marys or Tresco, the Isles of Scilly Steamship Co. sail the Scillonian 3 from Penzance to St.Marys and Skybus operate flights from Southampton, Bristol, Exeter, Newquay and Lands End to St.Marys. Air Southwest, Ryan Air, Easy Jet and various other companies now fly into airports serviced by Skybus making travel from the furthest reaches of the UK, and many parts of Europe, to Scilly. a possible day trip!!
